About us

I'm Claire and I'm super excited to have you stay in one of our cottages. A bit about me.

Just over ten years, I moved with my young family to Deal. Everything seemed right. A super friendly, thriving small town with an incredible stretch of coastline, views of France and open countryside. I'm a keen traveller, and in the last 32 years I have experienced the hospitality of over x countries. In my twenties, when I was backpacking the world, I had the desire to open up a hostel in some far-flung region and then when I hit my thirties I wanted to manage a tented safari. Little did I know when we moved to Deal that my dream of hosting would become a reality. We opened the doors to our first holiday cottage in Deal in 2010 and since then we have welcomed over xxx guests to our three rentals.

So now I'm a short term accommodation rental expert!! And I love it. Year on year I earn the Airbnb Superhost status which is only awarded to those hosts who provide an outstanding service and achieve 5 star reviews. The last year has been a difficult year with forced closures to holidaymakers. However, we understand the uncertainty that coronavirus is causing. When overnight stays and holidays return you can rest assure that we will follow enhanced cleaning regimes throughout. The keys will be in a key safe for easy, people-free access. Any contact, if required, during the stay will respect the the two metre social distancing rule.

To help you book with confidence we have implemented a worry free flexible booking policy. Holidaymakers who cannot travel due to coronavirus restrictions can move their booking to another time or should you need to cancel you can do this at least 14 days in advance of your arrival and receive a 100% refund. Otherwise, no refund. And during this lockdown we can be open for specific circumstances so please ask if your stay is a permissible one.

No parties allowed.

The holiday rentals are in quiet locations. Respect the neighbours and do not make noise late at nigh or when entering/leaving.

Leave the cottage in the clean and tidy state that it is found.

No smoking in the property (courtyard is fine but please throw away the butt ends).

Dogs to be kept off the furniture and they are not to be left alone in the accommodation. Clean up after your dog.
